National Gallery of Canada: Mapping the Social Logic of the City

As part of the National Gallery of Canada's PLATFORM II: The City and Access to Equity activation series, I joined a panel with Professor Laura Vaughan and Dianne Urquhart to explore "Mapping the Social Logic of the City." We examined how city design affects social interactions and the Ottawa music scene. This discussion aimed to connect academic insights with community experiences, shedding light on the importance of thoughtful urban planning for fostering cultural diversity and social inclusion. It highlighted the need for cities to support vibrant community life and the critical role cultural initiatives play in urban development.
