Learning Lab : ArtLab (now PlatteForum) with Memetic & Pho

In 2013, Ian "Pho" Swain and I embarked on a Learning Lab journey with ArtLab (now PlatteForum) interns, diving into sound and sampling over six transformative weeks. We challenged interns to blend their musical influences, spanning genres from electronic to mariachi, into original compositions, complemented by uniquely designed album covers. The evolution was striking; they quickly became adept at using music software and MIDI controllers, embodying the profound impact of creative skills on personal expression. The culmination of our work is a collection of tracks that not only showcases our contributions but also highlights the interns' incredible talent.
